I finally got the lowdown on Saks Fifth Avenue’s luminous new shoe salon, which was officially unveiled last week, at South Coast Plaza.

Now for some good news: Lily is finally back! Now the bad news: Rufus is wearing denim shirts! In any case, it was great to see these two together again. The business paper Kommersant said the maker of Hennessy cognac and perfumes such as Dior has paid the first installment for the stake, and the deal will be completed by the end of the year.

Under the contract, the paper said, Edinaya Evropa, which owns the Ile de Beaute cosmetics and perfume chain, will also replace L'Etoile as franchiser of LVMH's Sephora perfume and cosmetics brand in Russia.

A source in the Paris-based holding has confirmed talks on the deal, the paper said, adding that Ile de Beaute owner Igor Denisov has declined to comment.

Founded in 1992, Edinaya Evropa runs 103 cosmetics stores across Russia. Its earnings in 2007 stood at about $280 million. It was Russia's third largest distributor after L'Etoile/Sephora, with annual earnings of $760 million, and Arbat Prestige ($530 million) in 2007.

Ile de Beaute has gained more of the market since the Arbat Prestige owner was arrested on tax evasion charges in late January, and the cosmetics retailer faced about $39 million in debt claims. The firm now accounts for about 20% of the market, according to Kommersant.

Analysts cited by the paper said Ile de Beaute could be worth $167-$250 million. Kommersant also said, referring to its sources, that the contract with LVMH allows the Ile de Beaute owners, Denisov and Andrei Gribkov, to open Sephora stores in Russia.

Sephora cosmetic brand's franchiser in Russia is Alcor, also the operator of L'Etoile stores. Earlier reports said Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton was unhappy with L'Etual's policy toward the Sephora brand.

This is more on tag of war between shows and which fashion could make it more on the runway. It has been along rest for me after the Eurovision song contest. I think it will be more than two months then since I made my last post. This year fashion GREEN reveals eco-fashion designer Erika Ketelhohn as Bee Askin. Her new one is a combination of her husband's surname and the industrious insect that has inspired her work.

As an eco-designer, Askin makes use of recycled materials to create clothing she hopes will appeal to a wide audience of women.

"It's a very simple concept," she said. "You deconstruct and reconstruct."

"Eco" or "green" fashion involves "treasuring things that still have a lot of life left in them," she said. "I think eco-fashion can be part of the fashion world."

Askin's favorite recycled materials are men's shirts, preferably cotton and of good quality, perhaps too threadbare around the neck to still be worn but with attractive colors and designs she can adapt to her own creations.

Anyway, it was a great night last night partying at Aris for the Eurovision 2008 final night. There were bunch of people some I never met before but 70 percent I have met them. It was really nice. Russian won the grand prize and here the Eurovision 2008 final Results. France finished outside the top ten just like Sweden. We cheered our country anyway when Malta gave us the perfect score of 12! Thank you Malta! :)

Today was good day! That’s from the song actually which I don’t know the singer but it’s so popular for two seasons now. Marrika, Kristian and I went to see the Iron Man Movie at Royal theatre. The only big theatre in my town, in fact it’s really big for a theatre.

We were supposed to have just coffee when we called up to meet up but the weather was unfavourable today therefore we thought about going to see a movie than staying in the cold outside. So had to run to the nearest movies house and checked the “Now showing” and alas! It was the Iron Man Movie. It was a pleasure to see good entertainment and today for sure we really got entertained as everyone else in the house.

Grand Canary Island this summer

What's up tonight? I did some research and more on reading. I need to return my headsets to the shop because they don't work at all. I cleaned my room and did some shopping fresh and dressed then reading my favourite fantasy book Trudi.

I Speak my sister on the phone and chatted with few friends my friend just died a week ago and some of my friends wanted to chat with me because I wrote something for my friend for his burial and someone had to read it during the burial mass. Not in this world. Friends just come and go but really nice to watch movie on a high definition screen. I have missed many gadgets. Sean Penn has been impressing me more and more with both his roles in film and his efforts behind the camera. Into The Wild is a moving film about a young college graduate that decides to go off the radar and embark on an adventure across the country and into the wilds of Alaska. Along the way he makes friends and faces some interesting challenges in the wild. The film is based on true events and I must say it was quite inspiring in spirit. The photography is outstanding, as is the score and original songs by Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder. Or just watch your HDTV.

Teen edition first nominee! I have seen it on tube a while ago and i feel so sorry for Valerie. I really like her..Anyone.. please vote Valerie so she can stay more.. Here's my updates. I lost my fashion sense all of a sudden when I tried to upgrade my wp version to the latest. UGH! That was really creepy-scary even if I have backed my roots up but still it gave me some wrecking-nerve feeling when everything didn’t turn out well but thanks Fendi for making me so inspired to do it patiently. So almost everything is new here as you can see, I wouldn’t tell you how I did it but sure my persistence helped. Which of the celebrities did the Fendi Paint-Your-Own Baguette Tote?

ELISA: Right now I am living life. Because I can. I’m living, and I’m enjoying. I collect art, I collect fashion. I can’t lie to you, I love it. At some point you follow a type of life with a schedule, and I kind of said, “You know what? I’m going to take a hike for a while.”
EGLANTINA: I was just in the Amazon. My father has a farm there. I was doing some work that was ecofriendly, planting trees. I study drama in London too.

Tell me about your outfits.
ELISA: The fur is Fendi, the hat is like a Rasta type of hat, and I don’t know where it is from, but it is a great hat.
EGLANTINA: My coat, it is vintage. I love getting dressed. It’s my favorite thing, getting dressed and the rest are not from Fendi.

Karl Lagerfeld, designer of Fendi among the many other jobs he holds, always appears to have fun with his shows – adding something theatrical even in Milan, where typically, the clothes are the show.

Fendi opened with a stage set – a winter forest of leafless trees through which the models entered the catwalk. This began to make sense when, part way through the show, tops and jackets emerged with the appearance of dry leaves fluttering from necks and shoulders.

Actually, the effect came from fabric carefully cut like fall leaves. There were also furry skirts and an extraordinary top that mimicked the look of elaborate feathers. It was forest creatures tiptoeing through the winter woods.
